What began as a small ensemble of musicians has grown into a full symphony orchestra of over 60 talented people from all walks of life. Our journey has been marked by dedication, growth, and an unwavering commitment to musical excellence.

Orchestra Founded
Lake Shore Symphony Orchestra was founded in the fall by a group of musicians from the former North Side Symphony who were loyal to Milton Preves, longtime principal violist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and first music director of the Lake Shore Symphony Orchestra.
