Outreach

Community outreach has been an important part of the orchestra's mission. Activities have included concerts at local schools, chamber of commerce events and libraries. In February and November of 2010, LSSO hosted Young People's Concerts— nearly 1,600 fourth and fifth grade underserved elementary students were treated with the beauty of the famous composers and their masterpieces.
